Management presents quality story to gathering of teachers, performers, technicians, and influencers

YOUNG CHANG NORTH AMERICA recently hosted a special presentation of its new lines to about 100 music teachers, piano technicians, dealers, and church music players. Mario Merdirossian, professor of piano at the Music Conservatory of Buenos Aires and featured concert soloist with the Los Angeles Symphony and many other orchestras, played on Young Chang’s new AW 275 for the April 22 performance, which was held at the Marriott Hotel in Norwalk, California.

The event showcased new Young Chang and Weber vertical and grand pianos designed by Del Fandrich, a well-respected international piano designer. The Young Chang/Weber vertical piano models 112 and 114 have entirely new string scales and soundboard designs that include new tenor and bass bridges, longer back scales through the bass, and other new features that enhance the bass and create a smoother transition across the break and a better tone balance throughout the scale. Young Chang pianos and Weber pianos now have different string scales, giving each product line its own unique tone quality.

The new “X-Pro” series digital pianos were also showcased. Designed for professional players, the new X-Pro series instruments are literally PC3 professional synthesizers in beautiful, full-sized real wood traditional piano cabinets with powerful multispeaker sound systems. All of the PC3s’ acclaimed sounds and features are offered including more than 850 presets and 300 effects. Young Chang President Vincent Choi said, “Young Chang is going into a new phase with the new decade, new dealers, and new products, and it is very exciting to us.”
